  • These press-in and rivet studs can be universally used for component thicknesses from 0.6 to 4.0 mm (self-piercing: from 0.6 to 2.5 mm) and tensile strengths of up to 1200 MPa
  • Suitable for a wide range of high dynamic, static and impact load conditions
  • Suitable for use where threaded fittings need to be resistant to high axial forces
  • Also suitable for the accommodation of lateral forces
  • Can be used for GRP, CFRP, aluminium or other materials
  • Suitable for use with surface-treated, galvanised or painted components

Processing steps

  • Position component above die
  • The self-piercing support fastener is pushed through the component material by means of axial motion.
  • The specific geometry of the die is used to form the rivet shaft around the hole of the component material so as to result in a form-fitting and friction-locking connection.
  • The slug is securely fixed in the riveting area of the fastener
